Mechanical Engineer
JOB LOCATION: Bellevue (suburb of Omaha, NE)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mechanical Engineer. We have an immediate opening in our Mechanical
Design Department to serve as lead engineer on projects and be responsible for
the overall design and engineering of Mechanical systems. Design HVAC and
plumbing systems and specify fire protection systems for education, healthcare
and commercial facilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible for the design and management of an array of projects
to include: Mechanical engineering for a diverse client base plus, serving as an
engineer during the design process, performing design calculations and analysis,
review of shop drawings, writing/editing specifications, as well as, preparing
various reports. This position requires an individual who can provide the utmost
in accuracy for all technical work and correspondence and must possess excellent
verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with the
design team and our clients. As the lead mechanical engineer on projects, you
will be responsible for dealing directly with clients and the design team to
establish parameters and goals of the project.
QUALIFICATIONS:

BSEE or BSAE (with mechanical emphasis) |
 |
Experience should include HVAC, plumbing, fire
protection and energy systems
|
 |
Professional Registration desired but not
mandated
|
 |
3+ years design experience, preferably in a
Consulting or A/E firm
|
 |
Mechanical or Plumbing contracting experience
beneficial
|
 |
Strong knowledge of relevant systems and codes
|
 |
Ability to self-direct and prioritize to meet
project deadlines
|
 |
Ability to effectively and professionally
communicate with clients
|
 |
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel
& Outlook
|
 |
Auto CAD experience is a plus, but not
required
|
 |
Experience and/or interest in sustainable
design/LEED desired, but not required
|
