MR. KEVIN C. POWER, PE, CEM, GBE
Experience:
Mr. Power has provided Investigative Engineering services for dozens of
insurance claim cases including, but not limited to Property (fires, floods,
wind, hail, etc.) as well as personal injury claims (workman’s compensation,
slip & falls, etc.). Mr. Power has provided expert witness statements and

Power has 21 years of experience designing and engineering complete Mechanical
(HVAC and Plumbing) systems from the equipment selection and process design
through construction management and project commissioning. In industry, Mr.
Power has designed and engineered process changes for energy, food and chemical
processing industries on numerous systems including complete compressed air
systems; clean-in-place (CIP) systems; process drying and curing systems;
process dust collection systems; and process piping systems. Industrial markets
served include energy, railroad, food processing, chemical processing,
pharmaceutical and agricultural. Commercially, Mr. Power has analyzed,
engineered and provided construction administration for numerous mechanical
systems including, but not limited to: central chiller and boiler plants;
geo-exchange (geothermal) heat pump systems; air-to-air and water-to-air heat
pump systems; variable air volume, single and multi-zone air handling systems;
glycol, refrigerant, hot water, steam and chilled water piping systems; cooling
towers, air cooled condensers and evaporative condensers; heat exchangers and
pumping systems; and direct digital controls and energy management computer
control systems. Commercial markets served include healthcare, education,
institutions, government, developers, contractors, architects and other
consulting engineers.
Mr. Power has designed and analyzed renewable energy systems such as
geo-exchange (ground source) heat pump systems and wind turbine systems and has
conducted over 250 technical feasibility studies, life-cycle cost analyses and
comprehensive energy analyses for industrial/commercial customers.

Mr. Magdanz has provided expert witness testimony on technical issues over the
years and is certified in Fire Investigation by Peter Vallas Associates, Inc.
Mr. Magdanz has a vast knowledge of the Life Safety and ADA compliance codes and
is an expert in code review and compliance issues. He is also considered an
expert in fire suppression systems and plumbing systems.
Mr. Magdanz holds numerous responsibilities in the development, engineering
and construction of projects. He has been involved in many varied building types
acting as Project Coordinator and Liaison on various complexes up to $500
million construction value.
Mr. Magdanz has over 18 years of experience designing and engineering
complete mechanical (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection) systems from initial
schematic designs through construction administration. Mr. Magdanz has designed

MR. THEODORE M. COX, PE
Experience:
Mr. Cox has an accomplished career in electrical engineering - having been
involved in a wide variety of commercial, institutional and industrial projects
over his 30+ years engineering career. Mr. Cox has a vast knowledge of the Life
Safety and ADA compliance codes and is an expert in code review and compliance
issues. He is also considered an expert in Arc Flash.
In his role as Electrical Engineering Division Head, Mr. Cox developed many
solutions to building electrical problems in both new and existing facilities
and consulted extensively in both the public and private sectors.
Mr. Cox’s experience has encompassed institutional, industrial and pipeline
facilities. Specific heavy projects include: design and engineering for 2400 V
and 4160 V load-rated fused-disconnect switches and 1000 hp motor starters, 4160
V and 480 V service transformers and motor control centers, 480 V diesel
generator installations, 480 V variable frequency drives, 13.2 kV and 4160 V
service feeders, 120 Vac and 24 Vdc control panels, instrumentation panels, and
power and instrument grounding systems for industrial facilities.
Other project experience includes lighting and power for renovation and
additions to elementary, middle and high schools including classrooms, media
centers, gymnasiums, cafeterias and kitchens; lighting and power for
restaurants, automotive repair facilities, assisted living facilities, and small

Mr. Jordening serves as a Structural Engineer for Company Projects. Rich
Jordening has provided forensic, structural engineering services for most of his
career. Mr. Jordening has a vast knowledge of the Life Safety and ADA compliance
codes and is an expert in code review and compliance issues.
Mr. Jordening conducts many of the company’s structural investigative
engineering services. His work also consists of Structural Design and other
related Engineering and design for a broad base of facilities including School,
Healthcare, Industrial/Commercial, and Institutional facilities.
Mr. Jordening's duties include the design of structural support of existing
and new members. Mr. Jordening also serves KPE’s needs for wellfield site
layouts for geothermal systems.
